Magenta Mobility will partner with Altigreen propulsion labs to deploy 1000 units of Tez electric vehicles across the country. The special feature of this electric vehicle is its capability to get fully charged in just 15 minutes. This has been made possible with the partnership of Altigreen and Exponent Energy.
In a joint statement made by the three partners, it has been revealed that a three months testing has been done for the vehicles. They further added to roll out 1000 units of eco-friendly vehicles over the next 12 months. Exponent Energy has already set up 30 electric charging facilities across Bengaluru to make the initiative possible.
The new vehicle is priced at Rs 3,55,000 and is powered by an 8.2 kWh energy pack from Exponent Energy. The revolutionary vehicle is capable of getting charged from 0 to 100 percent in just 15 minutes using an Exponent e pump.
A lot of investment is being done in India’s electric mobility sector. Industry experts and state governments are trying their best to overcome challenges in the adoption of electric vehicles. The Indian government has already aimed to electrify 80 percent of two and three-wheelers sales by 2030.
