Cityflo introduces Cityflo Corporate, pay per seat model for daily commute

Cityflo, an app-based bus commute company, has launched Cityflo Corporate, a pay-per-seat model for the daily commute of employees.

Employees can book seats on any of the available buses, which run every 20 minutes on popular routes, using the Cityflo app. Companies can reimburse this travel expense in part or in entirety, to foster employee well-being and sustainable mobility.

This eliminates the need for dedicated company buses that are often underutilized and inflexible from a timing standpoint, the company notes. Furthermore, a custom dashboard by Cityflo to monitor employee usage ensures the management overhead for the company is minimal, claims the company.

Cityflo claims this will reduce expenses by up to 40% compared to dedicated buses, cabs, and parking costs and reduce carbon footprint by 86% compared to cars. The company has an existing network of 350 plus buses in Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Benefits of the Pay-Per-Seat Model for commuters

The pay-per-seat model introduced by Cityflo Corporate revolutionizes daily commutes in numerous ways, offering a plethora of benefits for commuters. One of the key advantages is the cost-effectiveness it provides to individuals, as they only pay for the seat they occupy, eliminating the need for fixed monthly passes or tickets that may go unused on certain days.

Moreover, this model offers flexibility and convenience to commuters, allowing them to choose their travel days based on their schedule without any financial burden of unused passes. It promotes a sense of freedom and autonomy in commuting, enabling individuals to tailor their travel plans according to their specific needs and requirements.

Additionally, the pay-per-seat model enhances the overall commuting experience by ensuring comfortable and stress-free journeys. Commuters can reserve their seats in advance, avoiding overcrowded vehicles and ensuring a seat is available for them during peak travel hours. This not only reduces the hassle of finding a seat but also contributes to a more pleasant and efficient daily commute.

Overall, the benefits of the pay-per-seat model for commuters are evident in its cost-efficiency, flexibility, convenience, and enhanced commuting experience, making it a game-changer in revolutionizing daily commutes for urban professionals.
