Kubota introduces new Range of 10 Models of RT Compact Articulated Wheeled Loaders

Kubota (UK) Ltd has launched an extensive lineup of 10 new models in their RT compact articulated wheeled loader range. The new comprehensive range is powered by reliable Kubota diesel engines, showcasing versatility and power in compact dimensions.

In a recent announcement at LAMMA ’24, Kubota introduced an additional 10 models to their RT compact wheeled loader lineup. This expansion comes on the heels of the introduction of two battery-powered models, demonstrating Kubota’s commitment to providing a diverse range of solutions for farmers and construction professionals

Features

The newly unveiled models cater to a variety of needs with high-lift and heavy lift specifications. The tipping loads across the range extend from 550kg up to an impressive 1,600kg. Lift heights are equally noteworthy, ranging from 2.17m to 2.96m, and operating weights vary from 1,100kg to 2,900kg. This extensive range ensures that there is a Kubota RT compact wheeled loader suitable for a wide range of applications.

Powered by Kubota diesel engines, these RT models boast power outputs ranging from 15-36kW, ensuring efficiency and compliance with EU Stage V emission standards. The two most powerful models feature a DPF/DOC emissions control module, underlining Kubota’s commitment to environmentally conscious solutions. Additionally, with a generous 6,000-hour service interval on these advanced models, operators can enjoy extended productivity with minimal downtime.

Dimensions

A standout feature of the RT range is its compact dimensions, with the entry-level RT100-2 measuring just 920 mm wide. The RT105T-2, featuring a telescopic boom, offers an expanded working envelope. On the other end of the spectrum, the range-topping RT280-2, at 1.4m wide with 31×15.5-15 tires, showcases versatility in handling various terrains. The overall height can reach up to 2.34m, reducing to below 2m when utilizing the folding canopy for added convenience.

Drive is hydrostatic across the range, with the smaller models using heavy-duty Poclain wheel motors. For the RT210-2 and above, Bosch Rexroth hydrostatic transmissions drive mechanical axles, allowing for the use of limited slip or 100% mechanical diff locks to enhance traction. The travel speed can reach up to 30kph, depending on the model, ensuring efficiency in various operational conditions.

Engine and other features

Engine service intervals are set at every 500 hours, showcasing Kubota’s commitment to durability and ease of maintenance. All the models in the lineup are backed by a two-year, 2,000-hour warranty. This offers peace of mind to operators investing in these advanced loaders.

Up to two auxiliary hydraulic circuits are available, with one providing proportional control through the multi-function joystick. Flow rates vary from 28-51 LPM, catering to diverse hydraulic needs. Standard features include a boom float and a Eurohitch headstock, enhancing the loader’s versatility. The new models are equipped with a fully-glazed cab. It has a heater, radio, road lighting kit, and rear-view mirrors, providing operators with comfort and convenience.

In conclusion, Kubota’s expansion of the RT compact wheeled loader provides cutting-edge solutions for the agricultural and construction sectors. Kubota’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its customers while prioritizing efficiency and sustainability.
