Omega Seiki Mobility partners with Kissan Mobility to deploy 500 EV Three-Wheelers

Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has entered into a strategic partnership with Kissan Mobility Pvt. Ltd., a zero-emission logistics provider, to deploy 500 electric three-wheeler cargo vehicles for last-mile delivery services across India. The deal, valued at INR 20 Crores, is set to be completed by June 2024 and signifies a significant step toward promoting eco-friendly logistics solutions.

The collaboration between Omega Seiki Mobility and Kissan Mobility covers a diverse range of applications, including E-commerce, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and Fast-Moving Consumer Durables (FMCD). The rise of electric three-wheelers in urban transportation

In recent years, there has been a significant rise in the popularity of electric three-wheelers in urban transportation. These eco-friendly vehicles are revolutionizing the way people commute within cities, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional gasoline-powered vehicles.

One of the most exciting developments in this space is the collaboration between Omega Seiki and Kissan Mobility. These two innovative companies have joined forces to launch 500 electric three-wheelers, aiming to transform the urban mobility landscape.

Electric three-wheelers, also known as e-rickshaws or e-auto-rickshaws, are gaining traction for their numerous advantages. Firstly, they are emission-free, helping to reduce air pollution in densely populated areas. With growing concerns about climate change and the need for greener transportation options, electric three-wheelers provide a viable solution.

Furthermore, these vehicles are cost-effective, both for the drivers and passengers. Electric three-wheelers have lower maintenance costs compared to traditional petrol or diesel-powered counterparts. Additionally, their operational costs are significantly lower due to the use of electricity as a fuel source.
