1. Engine and Gearbox:

The Tata 609g SFC CNG comes equipped with a 3.8 SGI BS6 engine which has the capacity to deliver 85 kW of power at 2500 rpm and 285 Nm of peak torque at around 1200-1600 rpm. The engine is mated to a smooth and efficient G400, 5 Speed Manual Synchromesh Gearbox for maximum performance. 

2. Brakes and Suspension:

The Tata 609g SFC CNG is fitted with a Vaccum assisted- H2LS; Auto Slack Adjuster integrated braking system for maximum performance. In terms of suspension, it gets parabolic springs and 2 no Hydraulic double-acting telescopic type shock absorbers with Antiroll Bar in the front while the rear houses a semi-elliptical leaf spring and 2 no hydraulic double-acting telescopic type Shock Absorber. 

3. Features:

As for features, the truck comes with Banjo Type Rear Axle for more load carrying capacity, a serrated coupling flange propeller shaft for better reliability and maintenance, Fuel, DEF Level Indicator, Gear Shift Advisor and High-Quality Music System with Blaupunkt Speakers and High-Speed USB Mobile Charger among others.

4. Dimensions:

The 609g SFC CNG comes with CBC, FSD and HDLB body configurations. It has a wheelbase of 3305mm, Gross Vehicle Weight of 5950kgs, Minimum ground clearance of 249mm and Minimum Turning Dia of 13100mm. Further, the vehicle comes equipped with tyres sized 8.25-16 16PRR.
