Zingbus Offers Free Travel Insurance For Its Customers

Critically-acclaimed technology-based intercity mobility company, ‘zingbus’ announces the launch of free insurance cover for its users. It has been mentioned by the brand that bookings made by users via the zingbus web and mobile app will now get free insurance cover as well. 

Under the strategic partnership between ManipalCigna (primary insurer) and Bimaplan (as an aggregator) zingbus strongly believes that the free-of-cost travel insurance will benefit and safeguard the travellers. It has been stated that travellers will now get significant trip protection benefits. 

Speaking on the launch, Prashant Kumar, CEO & Co-Founder of zingbus said: “We’re excited to launch this unique and remarkable insurance cover for bookings exclusively through our web & mobile platforms. This reflects our mission to focus on making intercity travel affordable and safe for everyone.“

Moreover, the brand assures customers will get comprehensive and exclusive benefits under the all-in-one insurance package which covers unforeseen circumstances. According to zingbus, the said travel insurance will benefit its customers with a personal accident cover of up to Rs.7,50,000 and emergency medical cover of up to Rs.3,00,000. Further, the insurance package also benefits the users to make a claim for baggage loss of up to Rs.5,000, out-patient expense coverage of Rs.25,000 and finally, medical evacuation of up to Rs.10,000. 

Prashant Kumar further added: “We’re always on the lookout for new ways to elevate the safety coverage for our travellers.” The scope of this integrated free insurance cover is to serve as a safety net, from the point customers are on board zingbus till they complete their journey. It would offer personal accidental cover & baggage loss cover, among others. And, having these risks covered, will ensure additional protection for our passengers. This added benefit will help us to improve the customer experience while they’re travelling with zingbus.”

Furthermore, zingbus is confident that it can safeguard the journeys of its customers. The free insurance coverage is certainly the basis for the brand to expand its business and deploy over 700 buses within this year-2022. It also focuses and plans on enhancing its business by deploying over 2000 buses by the end of next year.
